MARKETING AND PUBLIC RELATIONS PROFESSIONAL
An alumna of the School of Media and Journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill, I joined the corporate and financial services team at Rubenstein in New York, NY, after graduating in May 2018. My experience in public relations, marketing and strategic communications includes working for nonprofit organizations, small businesses, start-ups and PR agencies, but I am always looking to diversify my portfolio.
During the past few years, I gained marketing and public relations experience as a Marketing and Communications Intern for a beauty tech startup in Paris and as a PR intern for French/West/Vaughan in Raleigh, NC. I served as the 2017-2018 president of UNC-Chapel Hill's chapter of Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). During my tenure on the executive board of Carolina PRSSA, I organized multiple regional conferences and led a team of four UNC-Chapel Hill students to achieve 1st place out of 67 teams in the PRSSA National Bateman Competition. Because of these accomplishments, I received the North Carolina PRSA Inspire Award in Community Relations and the Lois and H.C. Cranford Award for the Outstanding Graduating Senior in Public Relations.
My interests lie in problem-solving, market research, brand positioning and content development on behalf of clients.
